We do not collect customs, duties or import tax, and we cannot pre-pay them. Your country decides whether a parcel is charged, and the thresholds differ by destination and change often. Check your national customs authority before ordering. Every device carries CE, RoHS and FCC certification and meets FDA material standards.
The two questions that stop an order at the last moment are whether a parcel will be charged at the border and whether it is legal to import where you live. Both are answered below, along with exactly what the outside of the box says and which certifications each device carries. Where the answer depends on your country, we say so instead of guessing on your behalf.
Every DuckDuo device is sold to customers aged 18 or older, and the age confirmation on this site is not decorative: it is stored and it is asked once per browser. We enforce the limit because an intimate-use product is not appropriate for a minor, because card networks and payment processors require age restrictions on this category, and because shipping an age-restricted item to a minor would put the order outside the terms it was sold under. If you are buying as a gift, the recipient must also be 18 or older. We do not ask for identity documents, and we do not verify age beyond the confirmation — but if an order gives us reason to believe the buyer is under 18, we will cancel and refund it rather than ship it.
Shipping is free. That covers carriage from our facility to your address and nothing else, and the distinction matters: a customs duty, an import levy or a value-added tax is assessed by your own government when the parcel enters the country, not by us when you pay. We do not collect those charges at checkout and we cannot pre-pay them on your behalf, because the assessment is made on arrival by an authority we have no relationship with. Whether anything is charged depends on your country’s threshold, the declared value of the parcel, and the rules in force on the day it lands — all of which differ by destination and change without notice, which is why we do not publish a table of thresholds that would be wrong within a year.
If you are near a threshold or you simply want certainty, contact your national customs authority or postal service and ask what applies to an imported personal care device. A question to them before ordering is far cheaper than a surprise fee on delivery.
The outer packaging is plain and unbranded. There is no product name, no brand name, no image, and no description of the contents anywhere on the box or on the shipping label. The sender line reads “DD Wellness”, and the same words appear on your card statement, so nothing connects the charge to the contents of the parcel. Where a destination requires a customs declaration, the contents are described in generic commercial terms rather than named, and no itemized invoice is attached to the exterior of the box. This is not a packaging option you have to select and it is not a paid upgrade — it is how every order ships, including gifts.
| Item | What it covers |
|---|---|
| CE | European Union conformity for safety, health and environmental protection — the mark that makes a device lawful to import and sell in the EU |
| RoHS | Restriction of hazardous substances: limits on lead, mercury, cadmium and similar materials in the electronics |
| FCC | United States electromagnetic compliance for the electronics inside |
| FDA material standard | The silicone and the internal structure are made to a material grade intended for body contact |
| IPX5 / IPX7 | Water resistance — splash-proof on most models, fully submersible on the ones rated IPX7 |
| Medical-grade silicone | Every skin-contact surface: non-porous and phthalate-free |
If you are unsure whether an intimate device can be imported where you live, message us before you pay rather than after. Tell us the destination country and we will tell you plainly whether we have shipped there before and whether we can ship there now. We would rather decline an order than take payment for a parcel that will be seized at the border, and in the small number of destinations where import is prohibited outright we will say so on the first message rather than the third.
Before you order
One message, one honest answer about whether we can deliver to you and what the box will say when it arrives.
These are lawful consumer products across the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Australia, and in most other countries, but they are age-restricted: you must be 18 or older. A small number of countries do prohibit importing intimate devices. If you are unsure about your own country, message us before ordering and we will tell you plainly whether we can ship there.
You do, if your country charges them. We do not collect duties at checkout and cannot pre-pay them, because the charge is assessed by your national customs authority on arrival rather than by us at the point of sale. Shipping is free, but that covers carriage only — it does not cover a duty or a value-added tax your government may decide to levy.
No. Customs documentation describes the contents in generic commercial terms and the sender reads “DD Wellness”. Nothing on the outside of the parcel names the product or the category, and no itemized invoice is attached to the exterior. This holds for every destination, including countries whose customs form requires a declaration, because the declaration itself is kept generic.
Yes. Every device carries CE, RoHS and FCC certification and meets FDA material standards. Skin-contact surfaces are medical-grade, phthalate-free silicone and the internal structure is food-grade ABS, with IPX5 or IPX7 waterproofing depending on the model. Certification documents and third-party test reports are available on request — ask on WhatsApp and we will send the files.
